This property in Pagham, near Bognor Regis was in need of a way of tidying up the front garden area beside the driveway. M.J Carpentry & Joinery were called in for the works.
The owner had asked if the area can be shingled but to a nice shape and leave plenty of room for future planting around the edges of the shingle. After agreeing the final shape, the works then commenced:
- First the area to be shingled was dug out making sure all weeds etc. were gone.
- Then a decorative border was put into the ground at the required depth, the shingle then stops at this point.
- A weed control/membrane was then laid on the area which was dug out before.
- Shingle was then laid and raked evenly to the finish you see in the pictures.
