The guest room of this house in Bognor Regis, West Sussex was in need of a more modern Wardrobe.

The owners of the property asked if we could fit a frame in the space available, allowing for a pair of doors to be fitted which will match in with the existing doors around the house.

As you can see by looking at the pictures above this worked out very well. Using MDF infills to close off any gaps around the frame, which will then be painted in to match the walls, a threshold piece matching in with the frame underneath the doors, a simple MDF shelf replacing the very thin original, also a new chrome hanging rail was fitted replacing the old brass one that was starting to bow badly!

M.J Carpentry & Joinery fitted everything including magnetic catches and door furniture, filled and sanded all woodwork ready for decorating. The owners then painted everything including the room itself at a later date. When finished I’m sure the room will be an inviting space for guests to stay and have ample space for clothes etc.
